Celebrating Burns’ Night

Every year on January 25th, Scotland celebrates Burns’ Night. This is celebrating Robert Burns’ birthday on January 25th, 1759. He was a famous poet from Scotland…one poem you might recognize is “Auld Lang Syne.” Traditionally, people celebrate his birthday by eating Haggis, Neeps, and Tatties.  (Neeps are turnips and tatties are potatoes.)
